Michael Lewis took an arcane, complicated subject (the packaging and selling of sub-prime mortgage bonds and credit default swaps) and made it understandable and entertaining. I enjoyed the stories of the odd assortment of individuals who out-guessed the market and found the book to be a fascinating read from start to finish.
