I'll start by saying that I am a huge fan of the In Death series and I've read them in order up to Purity In Death. Reunion In Death finally shows us just what it is that happened to Eve in her childhood. If you've been reading the series then you already know about the nightmares, and if you haven't then I would recommend going back to Naked In Death and starting from the begining. It's a great ride. I'll admit that some of the books in the series have moved me more than others, and this is the one that moved me more. Seeing Eve's reaction to being in Texas and up close and personal with a horse was hilarious!Get more detail about Reunion in Death (In Death #14).
