What I got out of this book more than anything else is the importance of getting into the habit of reviewing your performance on a continual basis. It`s so easy to slip into bad habits without realising you`ve done it and what worked before isn`t always going to work now. As a writer myself, I understand the importance of reviewing your work and as a salesperson the same rule applies.
