this is an excellent book..it tells of the farmers of the midwest that became greedy and dug up the praire grass so they could go more wheat and the dire consequences...and excellent book my admiration goes out to those brave families.Get more detail about The Worst Hard Time: The Untold Story of Those Who Survived the Great American Dust Bowl.
