I liked this second book in the Meredith Gentry series. The plot and world-building was interesting, as was the fey political intrigue. That said, sometimes the narrative got bogged down with lengthy political explanations. This occurred several times in the book and it slowed down the action too much for it to be a page-turner for me. Other than that, it was a good addition to the series and I'm looking forward to the reading the next one.Get more detail about A Caress of Twilight (Meredith Gentry, Book 2).
