this book starts an early series where a spymaster named hagen who is part hero part shyster who longs for a coveted post somewhat like head of homeland security. hagen's problem is he sends agents out on missions and they kept getting married and quitting on him. Intertwined in his quest are the lives of serena, her brother josh and his associates. I collected this series when it first came out. i recommend it to any romance reader who enjoys Ferrarella, Johansen, Palmer, and MackennaGet more detail about In Serena's Web.
