The authors do a nice job of explaining most of the basic financial aspects of running a public company. A great basic review. I do like their underlining theme of enabling the employee to be aware of their own company. Many Enron examples are used throughout the book along with other warning signs from recent corporate disasters. I'm not sure the average employee would pick up this book to learn how to read financial statements but if they wanted to, this would be a great resource. Nice workGet more detail about Financial Intelligence: A Manager's Guide to Knowing What the Numbers Really Mean.
